...About Me...

Hello, I’m Kene. I trained to become a doctor at the University of Nigeria in Enugu, Nigeria. Prior to that, I had my primary and secondary education in Kaduna, Nigeria. I love Scrabble, Football, Sudoku, Funny Movies and Political Satire. I have a huge sense of humour and I love witty sayings and aphorisms. I’m an avid reader and also a very curious person. I love to ask a lot of questions especially “Why?”.

I decided to become a doctor, because I have a desire to help people. Nothing makes my day so fulfilling than knowing that I have made a difference tangibly in someone else’s life. Wouldn’t it be more wonderful if I could affect groups of people rather than just individuals? That is why I also got a Masters degree in the field of Public Health. I have strong interests in the field of Internal Medicine (Doctors for Adults) because of the variety of cases I get to see and the challenge of diagnostics.

I want to use this medium to discuss my experiences so far, and together we can share opinions and useful anecdotes from our lives, exchange ideas and most importantly chart solutions to personal, communal and national problems that challenge us. I will in these memoirs not just aim at pointing out problems and obstacles but I will like to proffer solutions, hence they are of a different kind. I hope you’ll find these useful.
